VINIFICATION METHOD:
Fermentation takes place in contact with the skins for 8/10 days at a temperature of 20-25° C. Aging in steel containers at a controlled temperature of 12-13° C.
TASTING NOTES:
The wine presents a ruby red color with intense purple highlights.
At the nose we find different fragrances: from red fruit – cherry, raspberry, mulberry and blueberry – to spices – marjoram, rhubarb and white pepper. The palate is pleasantly fresh: the perceptions of the nose are amplified by a soft sensation given by the sweet tannins and the fresh herbaceous note.
FOOD MATCHING:
Cabernet Franc in Friuli is the conviviality red wine; from a friendly chat or a little lunch with a meat-based dish, to a dinner with pot roast or roast. Very good with lamb-based dishes too.
