Sustainability.
Respect for the environment has always been a milestone of I Magredi’s philosophy. Every action, from vineyard to glass, is carried out with attention and responsibility, safeguarding both the land and the local community.
The commitment in action:
- Renewable Energy: Over 240,000 kWh of clean energy generated annually through the photovoltaic system.
- Water Management: Winery wastewater is treated through natural phytoremediation systems, ensuring responsible water management.
- Sustainable Viticulture: Vineyards are managed in accordance with the SQNPI Integrated Pest Management Protocol, recognised by the “Sustainable Quality” certification mark, symbolised by the bee.
- Crop Protection Product Recovery: Products not absorbed by the vines are collected and treated, reducing waste and promoting the responsible reuse of resources.
- Biodiversity: Protecting the health of the agricultural ecosystem through initiatives that support pollinators, including bees, and preserve natural habitats.
- Community Engagement: Opening the estate to the local community and schools through cultural, educational and charitable events held both at the winery and among the vineyards.
